Heavy Heart was an experiment. My friend acquired a Kodak Super 8 from a thrift store during his trip to Paris, so we decided to put it to the test. Upon my trip to California, we decided to go on a drive that we would so often do during our high school days and bring the Kodak with us. We haven't driven those roads together in over two years, so having this camera with us was a great tool to slip inside the eye of our minds and capture the nostalgic, powerful moment.
